You can now become an owner of part of Doda’s left foot, a chunk of her beautiful mind, her unbanded index finger, her shapely right tit, her pure heart or her magical smile…

A Non-Fungible First!

NFTs of tweets, memes, and art have already changed hands for tens of thousands or even millions of dollars. Now — hot in the footsteps of influencer Marti Renti selling her ‘Digital Love’ — the Polish megastar Doda has teamed up with Fanadise to create the world’s first ever 3D scan of herself as an NFT puzzle.

Doda’s 3D scan is the latest phenomenon in the worldwide explosion of possibilities offered by NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens), and demonstrates a new level of connection between stars and their fans.

Imagine — super fans will now be able to own parts of Doda’s 3D Avatar. This is Madame Tussaud’s brought to your desktop.

Why did Doda decide to scan herself?

“Doda is different”, says Bartek Sibiga, the co-founder of Fanadise. “She has been present on the Polish scene since I can remember and, when we asked ourselves how we might break down the barriers between fans and their idols, she agreed to take part in our groundbreaking experiment on the spot. Literally, the first meeting we had — when she heard the idea, she just said ‘yes!’”

“I love my fans,” explained Doda. “On the stage, I try to give a part of myself — that’s what art is, sharing a part of your soul. And I love that this 3D scan technology will allow me to share more of myself and bring me even closer to my people. I am not afraid of technology — on the contrary, I see potential in technology.

Jakub Chmielniak, a co-founder of Fanadise takes a philosophical view.

“Digital means eternal. With this 3D scan as an NFT we are providing the ability to touch immortality; to freeze Doda in time in a way a photo or video cannot. The NFT format brings us a step closer to a type of immutable and incorruptible immortality.”

How Does it Work?

The 3D scan was carried out by Wolfstudios, using a method known as photogrammetry. The technique involves photographing the measured object — such as the Polish superstar — from every angle and building a 3D model using software that finds characteristic points and determines their x,y and z coordinates based on the images.

Fanadise — an NFT utility platform linking fans and influencers — has made use of this technology to create a 3D scan. What is groundbreaking, however, is their decision to turn it into an NFT puzzle.

Doda’s 3D scan is not everything

Doda’s scan is just the beginning. Her partnership with Fanadise is the start of a new adventure with NFTs. With this Polish megastar embracing the technological advance, we can be certain of a shift in the way celebrities interact, communicate and engage with their community — at least in Poland.
